    Hey folks,

Stupidly I’ve rounded the Allen key head on the front mounting bolt for the pillion seat on my 2018 speedmaster. I’ll be able to get the existing one out with a pair of grips but I was wondering if anybody knew what size bolt is required and the best place to source one from?

    Cheers in advance

PM me a reminder and I'll check the parts diagram in Triumph parts data base for you.

Take it to any supplies and they will replace it for you. Most of my bolts I remove take them to Apex Fasteners and they replace with Stainless.

All he asked for was the size and where to source. Now he knows. btw if you ever need a cable tie, we can sell you one, individually packaged, with a genuine part number, for not much more than 60p inc vat ... seriously.

Cheers @Dozers Dad as @Rich Bryce said, it was literally just the size I was after. I'm not daft enough to pay Triumph prices for another bolt that's going to mangle up exactly the same again and I'll be going to a proper hardware spares place for a stainless bolt at a fraction of the price of Triumph

60p mate, good value. You'd have to pay more than that for a pack of 100 from Poundland ... and have 99 left over gathering dust.

If you ever want a cable tie 370*4.7 I can do one individually packed for £8 + vat. Twist my arm and I'll give you a 10% TTF discount.

Hmm. On-line shopping will kill the high street. Give some thought to your local dealership and Poundland store.

Cut a slot in it with a hacksaw and use a Phillips screwdriver to remove it.
