Sorry Dilli, wanted to grab attention... Plan on riding a whole bunch more this year, London to Devon frequently and a few cheeky trip to France (cliche D'Day Beaches trip) and maybe even Spain. Looked at the Dart screen, bought a Triumph Summer screen, no good, saw this barn door National Cycle DEFLECTOR SCREEN DX Quick-Release (£130 ish) may offer some wind relief on longer fast-ish A roads. I want a screen I can easily take off when not touring as they look shite, if I wanted a chips style bike I'd a bought a Harley, that said did fall in love with a HD Softail Breakout 103 the other day, ohh er missus, anyway back to the topic. Any experience of this screen folks, or a recommendation (excluding fark off, you screen loving tosspot)
You did say you wanted to grab attention? Right. You will with that but not in a favourable positive way
Do you really care what the others think? It's about comfort. I've got the screen pictured, it comes off in 15min of tooling, and when winter gives us a rare 7-10C day you'll want to give in to the itch and ride. Or stay cool - and cold. It's your pony and your butt. You'll know what to do.
Hear hear that fellow Refreshing to get a considered helpful response, not like these piss taking reprobates
All in good fun, but I tried a touring screen on my first bonneville and apart from looking sh*t, it was awful to ride at motorway speeds when changing lanes - like having a riot shield stuck on the front!
