Hello, I just picked up a 2020 Bobber Black, and put 9 miles on it. I have a question for those in the know. The tachometer should be lighted at the bottom of the speedo. My tach doesn't show! Is there something I need to do to allow the tach to illuminate? During the 100 mile break in period I need to keep it under 4000 RPMs.
I haven't been on a bike in 20 yrs. This is going to be fun on the curvy coastal roads.
    Thanks.

Hi David and welcome in :)

I can't help you regarding the tach illumination, even though I used to have a Bobber, as I can't remember  - Great bikes, surprisingly good handling, brilliant fun... Enjoy! :D

Is the LCD blank and not showing anything? Or is it just showing something that is not the RPM? If the latter, then I guess you haven't read the owners handbook and found out what the 'i' button on the left hand controls does ;)

Thanks for the info brown mouse. The "i" button is indeed the answer, although the owner's manual which I've read front to back twice; only says the "i"/scroll button operates the odometer, the trip reset. the clock reset and the traction control. I need to play with my buttons more.

Welcome David. Don't know much about that new fangled stuff. I am not TOO far away [relatively speaking]. I am down in the Mohave Desert. …J.D.

I have an 2018 Bobber Black and my guage only lights up at nighttime. It does it automatically. At least as far as I can tell anyway....it's possible it's lit up all the time but I just can't see it in the sunlight haha.

Well, the culprit was actually a faulty gauge. Having it replaced on warranty.

    Glad you got it sorted!
It's always one of those "is that right?" or "that is always like that!" moments!!!
