Interested in getting some clip ons for my bobber black, heading mixed opinions on them, look great etc but makes riding position more hunched, affects cornering performance, gives sore back etc etc
Anyone on here have any fitted that can share your opinions?

Well here’s some pics of a bobber a local guy had with clip ons on and I personally think it looks really cool... just my opinion though

if it's what you like go for it,although with the seating position on the Bobber I'm not sure how comfortable it would be..you could always to back to the original bars if you didn't get on with it

My thought process was to try and get a ride of one with them already fitted to see what it was like but my gut feeling is it would spoil the ride position but I have no idea until I try it

it would be good if you could get a good test ride rather than just a few miles, if you are going to be using your bike for short runs only it might be comfortable enough, but it might be different if you're on the bike all day or if you will be doing some touring?

Good god I wouldn’t want to ride that very far and as for going round a roundabout/tight bend :worried:

I followed a guy on a 18 plate bobber on the A49 a couple of weeks ago. Took me a while to figure out what it was until I stopped alongside him at the lights. Riding did look a bit cramped, but he seem to cope with it in the twisties. Not for me, but each to his own...

When I bought my Bobber, the dealership had one. I didn't like the riding position, but that's just me. I'm thinking you'll find that people love them or hate them. I have 16 inch ape hangers on my Indian Chief, and people will just about want to fight me over how stupid ape hangers are. To me, they take me back to the time when I was a kid and had a bicycle with similar handlebars. I really don't give hoot what anybody thinks of them.
In the end, if clip ons make you happy, get them.

The bike looks ok parked up, but the pegs-seat-bars dimensions would make it a very uncomfortable riding experience for me.

    Hmmmmm

    Look at it like this.....

    upload_2019-2-4_9-25-21.jpeg

The ultimate of form over function. What looks good in the Urban Biker Cafe and what gives you control of your extremities on the street are not necessarily the same. You’re gonna stick out.......

They look great and they handle great round the twisties but its like riding a medieval rack after 50+ miles.
