looks more like a dodgem car than a side car, ugly as feck and costs shit loads of cash.

 

Always tell them you want finance over as long as possible, get a price written down, then pay them cash.
They get big kick backs from the finance company, so will drop the sales price.
It works, they hate you for doing it, but it does work. Sometimes.

 

Doubt it very much, you never actually own the car until final payment made. So you sign into the contract to pay them for 3 years, then offer to sell you the car at an agreed price at the end.
I see loads of people running cars they couldn't actually afford, will it come back to bite them bad? I'll wait and see.
Pisses my wife off that we can't run around in new cars, when her friends can. But I just think it's a big con.
I'll stick to buying what I can afford.

With all the so called money laundering going on, in my experience it's hard to deal in cash anywhere other than private sales nowadays. No dealers are allowed to accept more than £10k in cash
Without a doubt the establishment wants to see and can see where every penny has been earned and every transaction after that.
Having to explain why I want to withdraw a reasonable amount of cash from my bank and what I intend to use it for incurs my wrath.
