Hi all - New owner of a 2020 Tiger 900 Rally and I am trying to figure out if it has the bluetooth module or not. Following the directions, I cannot get a phone to pair with the bike which leads me to the question: Will the Bluetooth menu appear on the dashboard if the bike has no Bluetooth module? I am seeing the full Bluetooth menu, but since I can't get the phone to pair, I am sort of doubting that there is a module present. The previous owner said "he never tried" to pair his phone and he did not seem to be the most technically sophisticated fellow, so he may not have realized that there was no Bluetooth module (he was the second owner). Hoping someone on here has encountered this and can advise me if this is typical if no module is present or where to look for the module (under the seat by the battery, right?). Thanks! I think there is no Bluetooth module, because I found the wiring and there is nothing attached to the connector. Based on what I've read of the rider experience with the Triumph Bluetooth system, I'm not in any rush to acquire one, either.
You need the module, and it has to be configured by a Triumph dealer who use the factory diagnostic unit, there is currently no OBD aftermarket unit that can do this.
Based on what I've read about the Bluetooth functionality, I think I'm gonna pass. Thank for for this insight, however - very helpful!
