Ordered part for my Explorer and have watched it's tracking progress from New York across the States and finally arriving in London. Suddenly progress stopped at Customs clearance, after 4 days I received a letter - customs want £ 25.00 before releasing. Oh joy, Dick Turpin wore a mask, but hey Ho it's off to Parcel Force I go

What part was it? After postage and customs would it have ended up cheaper over here if available?

Unfortunately the part is not available here - it is a bespoke headlight guard. Manufactured in Poland then the company closed business - purchased from New York. Lesson learnt!

Stolly driver. Does your username refer to the only vehicle I've ever driven that was more fun than sex?? And could make you a brew.
Made by Alvis? HMLC. Spent a few years on them if I've guessed right?

The amazing amphibious Stalwart - how could you not like something with 6 wheels that can swim and it's exhausts glow red hot into the bargain.
