Block Differences

Noob here, so hello.

Ok, I bought a Daytona 955i (2001) as a bit of a budget winter hack but now winter is nearly over thought I'd do some mods to it (over the summer).

I am thinking about fitting it with a 1050 engine from a speed triple (then turboing it) but need to know if there engine blocks are basically the same - ie will it fit?
