IN both senses of the word, decided to fit new pads to the front so while at it bought braided pipe and all new seals in both m/cyl and caliper that was a week ago !! so far ive spent six days on the bloody job, started by bleeding the usual way then went on to pushing up with a syringe when neither worked in the slightest i took the whole lot apart thinking i had done something wrong, no everthing assembled correctly ihave worked from bothe ends so i know fluid is going thro the pipe ok if i work the brake lever i have got to the stage there are no bubbles coming forth if i push fluid through the bleed valve the m/cyl fills up with no bubbles but i still have no pressure on the lever at all, ive left the lever in the open position for two separate nights still nothing have totally run out of ideas.

Bleed up the master cylinder to a blocked bolt directly fitted in the outlet port.
Does the master cylinder create pressure and resistance at the lever?

If yes, then attach one line and bleed to every junction along the path in sequence, and not straightaway to the bleed nipple as you may just be pushing air around.
Once the system is full of fluid then complete the bleed at the nipple.

    If no, replace master cylinder.
