The rear caliper on my trike has 2 bleed nipples on the top and 2 on the bottom, and the same on the opposite side, does anyone know the procedure on bleeding them?
The normal procedure is to start at the bleed nipple furthest from the master cylinder and work back towards it.
My guess would be the caliper can be mounted the other way up on other bikes / models so just bleed the top ones.
Do I have to bleed both top ones on the same caliper or can I just bleed 1, because one of them is rounded off.
Try bleeding just the one but give it a few extra pumps to make sure all air is out, you don't want to break a bleeder in at this stage
If its the top most one thats rounded, try removing the caliper and orientating so the other is top, bleed, then replace.
I can't turn it round because of the handbrake linkage, the rubbers for the master cylinder don't arrive till tomorrow then I'll try bleeding it through the other top nipple.
You can, but you won't be bleeding it properly. I guess you have one over each pot, so you will only be bleeding one. The other pot could hold air. Get the old one off with a mole grips.
I managed to get it off by removing the handbrake linkage and lightly hammering a socket on it, now i'm just waiting for the master cylinder rubber seal to arrive from Triumph world then I can bleed all four.
