Thanks for the heads up Timmy. Looks like I’ll have to double up on my security in my garage in Eastbourne. You just can’t trust those pesky OAPs round here!
Why did the police not put in in a random garage and then wait for them to come calling? Dosen't seem to be that complicated a sting to set up to me! Wessa
Sounds a bit iffy to me but if anyone knows them can you ask them where they get their trackers from. They must be cheap as our Eastern Euro friends don't like spending a lot
As a couple of folks have already said, this is yet another hoax story. I get a bit annoyed by these stories that appear to be designed to promote fear and anger, and thus division and hate. I agree with the sentiments against real criminals of any nationality, but let's check facts before lynching anyone.
And Again I have seen this being used. A friend of mine lost his lovely 675r in similar circumstances. These tracker devices can be bought of places like ebay these days for pence and abroad even cheaper. Plus look at the price of these bikes it makes the risk worth it. Its always Safer to err on the side of safety. I am now using two screamer locks plus my alarm. My garage is also alarmed. And I am afraid that if that alarm goes of and I find someone trying to take my bikes I would rather die than let them get away. And yes I agree there are a lot of creeps of all nationalities out there that want to get rich with our possessions. Ride Free Joe.
This is an example of people using these trackers. I made sure that all the bikers at work saw this mail and warned them. To my surprise I got back to my bike today. Boy I couldn't believe it. There it was. Lucky I spotted it in time. Ride Safe. Joe.
BikerMan. No it's perfectly understandable. I laughed all the way home from work. I don't think anyone followed me as I ate the tracker. I believe if you crush them all up in your mouth they don't work. Ride Safe Joe.
Wessa. That's true. Glad they won't get my bike. Was a bit peckish so munched it. Cost them a bit anyway. Ride Safe Joe.
