Featured Touring Biker friendly accommodation in Brittany

Thought I would post some pictures of my recent trip to northern France.
Journey was by ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg and then down to Lanrivain via Avranches and Dinan. Then back to Normandy to stay at Gefosse Fontenay and Honfleur then home via Dieppe to Newhaven.

Stayed with Roger and Linda Nicholls in Brittany - cannot recommend them high enough. Totally geared for bikers with accommodation in three separate units. Roger has many bikes with a large number of Russian sidecar combos! He'll teach you to ride one if you want. The address is:

These wooden cabins sleep 2 or 6 I think - each have their own kitchen and bathroom, BBQ area and covered bike parking.

He will organise runs out - it was just me on the Saturday so a trip up to the coast was in order after stopping for fresh bread!




Boneparte Beach - escape route for allied airmen rescued by the Resistance. They were taken through the tunnel to waiting fishing boats and ferried out to Royal Navy submarines.

 

They bought it for 1000 euros and it is in immaculate condition with low miles.
