    Hi All,
Any ideas why my speedy would feel quicker after it’s 1st full service?
It just seems to pull stronger and harder! They did say my rear brakes were binding and changed the pads so would that be it?
    Definitely not complaining mind!!

Having your brakes applied would slow the vehicle down, that's the theory anyway. Glad its sorted

Yup, it'll have been the binding brakes.

Just a thought, some here will have a better idea, how long were these binding for and would there be any danger of disc warp?

It’ll certainly make the pulling away and gear changes smoother, hopefully it was adjusted a few times in that 6000 miles

You will probably find that all these thing affect the bike. And if the dealer reset the map it will change thing a little especially if they reset it for different pipes and filters.

Necessary positioning adjustments are a requirement for any fast bike rider. Likewise, moving your handlebars to a definite position will help you achieve your maximum riding speed. There is a direct influence between the height of the bike’s handlebars and its ride handling. When lowered, the body weight would direct over the front, allowing an increase in traction. A higher stack will transfer the rider’s weight behind, lessening its aerodynamic efficiency.
