Hi guys, has anyone tried a larger rear sprocket for better acceleration at the expense of top end speed?
My 1994 900 sprint ( 18" rear wheel ) has a 46 tooth rear and I,m currently considering going down a few teeth , always feels like it could manage another gear and I,m pretty sure I could get better fuel economy . 30 MPH is no problem for it in 6th gear and accelleration is pretty rapide enough for me anyway .I dont know what is on the front sprocket as I,ve not checked yet and its an oil drop to change it anyway.
Dunno how you got here mate, thanks for the info but its not really relevent to a Bonnie, I was after info about that and possible suppliers. Cheers
