So my state is monitoring cell phone clusters via GPS for social distancing. I knew this technology was available, as company trucks, are gps monitored for speeding, erratic driving, stopping at a liquor store, strip clubs, or other unusual places for a company truck, etc,etc. And a alert posted. Well the state is now monitoring personal smart phone locations for people density, and other distancing hot spots. My city/county was given a C rating so we need to do better. 45 counties got a F rating. The county has also set up a hotline so you can rat on people you feel are leaving the house too often, etc, etc, and the MIB will visit to discuss. Note to self: turn off smartphone GPS during spirited drives/rides. Because 135 on that deserted road may get you into trouble. Good news, most of the USA west of the Mississippi has very spotty cell phone service, in the mountains forget about it.
