After my first 24 hourse riding my shiny new Street Twin (still on delivery tank of fuel) bimbling around my local country lanes the roads are in a terrible state. Dont event notice the crappy pot holed surface in my Discovery but boy do I on Edna ( thats the Street Twin not my wife)

Question: I’ve seen some posts applauding the Hagon shocks and front springs, looks like you can get a set up for sensible cash, is it worth it, is there a comparable option

Realise nothing will help the pot hole more the rutted bodged up worn tarmac

Currenyly - don’t honestly know, with Hagon I’m told they adjust shocks based on your weight, and then give adjustment harder or softer

I need to look at my Haynes yo see if the factory is adjustable, dont think it is.

As a fat git (circa17.5st, in my heels) I maybe compressing shocks from the outset

I've got Ikons on my Bonnie SE which are a definite improvement. Hagons review just as well, so I imagine would be a good upgrade on the street twin. I've got Ohlins from a Thruxton R on my Street Twin which are fantastic. Ohlins do a specific unit for the Street Twin, which might be worth checking out.

When ever I set up a bikes suspension or carburation I usually jot down any adjustments that I make.

Saves scratching your head trying to remember what adjustments you’d made at a latter date if it hasn’t work or you wish to make further adjustments.
