Doesn’t have to be bike related but what do you think has been your best purchase this year? Mine has been a Steam cleaner ... Kercher C3. Cleans the bathroom a treat and no chemicals ! Which certainly helps with my breathing. Floor in the kitchen has never been as clean as well. Unlike a mop and bucket the cloths you put on the tool pick up the dirt rather than just swirl it around.
Cant seem to get out on this, Ive done 200 miles in 3 weeks, and spent one freezing afternoon fete-ling. Probably spent more time looking at pics.Bah humbug.
I sort of think they are staying, although probably not for the reasons you might think. If I take them off ,then, do I sell them,? This is my first thought. Then I can spend the money on a Scottoiler and luggage. If I keep them them for spares, cos Id kick myself if I sold a piece then needed it later, then it makes no sense to have the expensive items sitting in the loft.
Hopefully you won't need to test your Rukka gear in Scotland & Ireland next year! be interested to see how you get on with the neotec 2,i've been looking at that style of lid but they all seem to be noisy?
My new to me ST was my best purchase this year, best bike I’ve ever owned and I’ve really gelled with it. It just seems to fit me like a glove and has a perfect balance of low weight and plenty of accessible power. The other two good purchases this year have been a pair of RST heated gloves, (wish I’d bought a pair years ago) and a Schuberth R2 helmet with their integrated SC1 Bluetooth kit, so an expensive year but it’s all improved the experience.
Been there and done that, cost me a marriage and a hell of a lot of money, won’t be trying that again.
I've got a Neotec 2. It is noisy but not much worse than my Arai which is supposedly quiet, I always wear earplugs anyway so it doesn't make any difference to me. It'll be a good winter crash helmet as it's very warm, but the flip side D) is it's a bit too warm in the summer, the ventilation on my Arai works a lot better than Shoei's version. I've got the integrated Sena intercom in it and that works a treat.
It's a hard decision. Be between my new gimp suit or the waterboard kit I bought at the ex-MOD auction . Both were cheap due to water damage !!!
Cordless pole hedge trimmer. I can, well, trim the hedges so much quicker now giving me more time to ride the bike.
Not as much £ as most, but my best purchase was some mtp goretex overtrousers. All of £19.99, but worth every penny when out riding through the rain.
I was videoing you for blackmail purposes , ust have to decide who the recipient of the video will be to maximise my windfall. We'll start easy £1000 a month to begin with or billboards round your hometown get erected Will even see if someone will paint an end terrace house ......
Can’t really think of a more disturbing image ( or should that be disturbed character than Wayne DD. Apart from yourself of course )
