I have touring maps (12 altogether) of Germany. They are German maps for motorcycle touring which I bought last year. "Tourenkarten fur motorradfahren "
Let me know where you are thinking of going and I can post the relevant ones to you if you like.

Thanks for the kind offer Steve, but I've ordered a couple of michelin maps from mapsman.com they seem to have a great selection at pretty good prices,I'm heading to the Harz mountains for 4 days before going to Chemintz for the German moto gp

Dougie I have loads if you want to borrow any when you go or when you arrive most places sell for a few euros local road maps with everything marked on it ( I have a few also).

It's only an issue really if you tour alone

Cheers, i think I'm sorted with the maps I've ordered, i get the ferry on Sunday,Pissed off with my zumo though as it's not accepting any gpx files now o_O plus i put a memory card in but it's not taking any gpx files either  so i have just entered the final destination into the zumo and i'll use the good old fashioned maps for various routes
