Hi all, its come to the two year point, and the battery is close to being replaced.... any suggestions on an upgrade or replacement? Is gel the way to go? Those folks at tesla haven’t replied yet.... apparently the know about these kind of things?.....
A very good aftermarket battery make is Motobatt Has a higher CCD (cold crank displacement IIRC) Means it turns over strongerer
Go Lithium they have even more Cold Cranking Ampere's ! I did two years ago and bike never fails to start ! Even though I am now a FIFO worker and it can be weeks between runs (when I am home) it always cranks over at a good speed and will crank over for minutes at a time if necessary ! Cheers capt.
