Banned user

    A friend of mine (Petrolhead) who only recently joined this forum was banned.

    He had only posted two threads, one in the welcome section and one asking advice about sunglasses.

    He tried to log onto the forum the other to be faced with this:

    You have been banned for the following reason:
    No reason was specified.

    Date the ban will be lifted: Never

    He is quite upset as he freqents many forums and has never been banned before and he is not aware why he has been banned.

    He has also emailed the administrator of this forum twice but has had no reply.

    He is keen to get this resolved and an explanation would be nice, either as a reply to this thread or a replied email

    Hi It usually takes something abusive or spam related to get you banned from the site? I'm sure CC or our super mod will look into it, if there has been a mistake I'm sure it will be corrected.
    By the way, welcome to the forum

    Ok I will have a look at it, yes it was about sunglasses but looked very spam like, hence the reason for the ban.

    I will lift it, but please understand that It's a bike forum so it did seem a bit odd for a 1st post (most people usually introduce themselves)

    Nice one Steve, it is hard for the admin to check it all and always get it right, not an easy job ,at least its all sorted now :upyeah:
