After 30 years I've just bought my first proper bike... It had to be a Triumph and I found an Adventurer in really nice condition at a sensible price.:)

Hi Dougie and thanks. Planning on some immediate changes. Solo seat, lower bars and change rear fender. Something like this.

Hi tony welcome in and welcome back to riding. Great bike, like the colour scheme, you'll have to excuse some of the guys there's a real blue envy going on! I don't know why but it seems to be deep seated!

Oh dear I think I prefer the standard trim, but hey ho each to their own. Enjoying what you have is the name of the game, so go and enjoy

Good plan - solo seat will look cool as will lower bars and the standard rear fender? Less said about that the better!

What do you call sensible out of interest, these bikes prices seem to flex a fair bit. Best of luck with her

Thanks to all of you for your warm welcome... As for the changes I plan don't worry I won't ruin the bike :) A question; I guess the fender from a Thunderbird is a straight swap over to the Adventurer?
