As described here, I had major damage to several rear wheel parts due to a missing spacer. Finally received all the backordered parts and put the bike back together! :grinning:

May I ask, whats the story with the missing spacer, was it something you overlooked to replace when fixing something?

Nice looking bike by the way and loving the colour.

    Thanks.

Here’s the story. The bike was donated to a church which auctioned it off. Never got a chance to talk to the original owner. The bike looked practically new with very low mileage. Had not been registered for years. Ran well. The problem showed up when I tried to adjust the chain. When I tightened the axle nut it compressed the swing arm and crushed a bearing, etc. Not realizing, I rode it a bit like that, doing further damage. The missing spacer was between sprocket hub and wheel hub.

So, I don’t know who forgot to put the spacer back. I hope that’s that’s the only missing part. :)
