Avon Road Rider Suddenly Deflation

    That's an old trick, but this is specifically for the Road Rider tyre, which I am sure are probably fitted to a few spoked bonnevilles. Needs checking if fitted prior to 2016.

    Thanks mr o although mine were bought only a month or so ago I shall check my tyres tomorrow in case they're old stock. What is it coming to if the oil filter don't get you on your arse the tyre will!!

    So this only affects tubed tyres? Avon Road Riders are OK on tubeless wheels?

    They actually say manufactured before August 2016 so if the dot is under 3116 it would fall into that category. Both mine were manufactured before then so I am going to have to check with the guy who fitted them:(
    If they have to be removed do Avon pay for this?

    Yes, it's just if the sticker is left inside the tyre, causes the inner tubes to wear and fail !!!
