Just went on the triumph world website to order an arrow exhaust and noticed they’ve gone back up to £600, anyone know if they’re likely to come down again?
Will have to be an eBay job if not!

Give them a ring first and check the price. I recently bought a seat unit from them. That had gone back to full list price on the website but I only paid half for it.

    Good luck.

Same here. I bought some Triumph accessories for half the price direct from the dealer.

So you might be lucky ;)

I've heard that apart from switching the original exhaust for the Arrow one an ECU reprogramming is required.
Does the purchase of the Arrow exhaust include the ECU reprogramming?
Should it be performed on an official Triumph workshop?
Is it ok not to reprogram?

    Cheers,
    Fabio V.

    Hi Fabio

I don't think the map comes with it. All you get is the Arrow exhaust. You will then need to call your Triumph local dealer and they will upload the map direct to your ECU. The cost for this upload should be around £30 - £50 (ranges from dealer to dealer ).

I am not sure which year Triumph you have. The newer models ECU are locked by Triumph and only the dealership can upload the map. If you try to upload it then the ECU will be locked and................:worried:

However if you have the earlier models then you are able to upload the map yourself or even have it custom mapped by a professional Dyno centre

I would thoroughly do some checks to find out if your ECU is locked or not

EDIT: Just beaten by R1000 above:mad:;)
Had mine done at the dealers, as you can not do it yourself (on certain models) with the likes of TuneECU! As for not reprogramming? I ran a previous Street Triple with a SC Conic exhaust on the original map without any problems.
TBH Conic sounded better than Arrow anyway!

Hmmm nice to know. I bought my Arrow exhaust at an Spanish dealer at a price of 285€ instead of the 820€ shown in the official webpage. OMG!
Otherwise I'd have investigated a SC exhaust or similar.
I think I'll install it then go to the dealer for the reprogramming.

    Thank you!

    This is good advice!
York triumph are supplying and fitting the exhaust and carrying out the remap whilst it’s getting serviced. Service price + £245 for the lot.
