Im looking at getting another bike for a bit of distance touring with the Mrs. I'm leaning towards the Tiger1200 mainly due to current deals and local offer but I do like the look of the 1250 GS Exclusive.
I will ride both 2 up but until the weather breaks would like to hear if anyone has ridden both and any thoughts.

Wife likes the heated seat on the Tiger too. I had a Gen1 Tiger which she loved. Never had a Beemer and only ever ridden the K1300S

I’ve had a 2018 tiger 1200 and I’ve now got a R1250GS te exclusive. Both bikes have good and bad points to be fair, the Tigers biggest problem for me were it’s weight and engine heat, all the gadgets on the tiger were ok heated seats etc. The gearbox was super smooth. The GS feels a lot better balanced and the engine is a lot more lively, it will lift the front just off the throttle. The tft on the bm is better,my Mrs does miss the heated seat but she reckons it’s more comfortable. I think it just a personal choice of which bike you prefer.
    Cheers Phil

Thanks for the post. I'm really coming round to the GS and cant wait to try one.

Cheers for the reply littleade. I hadnt thought about resale as had planned to keep it a while but I have planned that before and it has NEVER worked out :)
Im going to try and get an ex demo bike and then ask for a non px deal on that, perhaps on luggage etc.

I’ve got to admit the paint job does suit the bike and the midrange power is proper addictive

I do like the Farmers vids though

Yes he does. TMF is getting a bit boring IMHO. Same format needs changing a bit but must be difficult to do. 44 Teeth is great. Almost the old top gear of motorcycles but better.

To be honest you’re better off making your own opinion by riding them both, we all ride differently and all want bikes for different reasons, some riders race about others cruise about, one mans meat is another mans poison and all that.
You pays your money and make your choice.
I do find some of the YouTube vloggers clueless, but again its just my opinion. Cheers Phil

And that is the whole reason I didn't get a GS. I couldn't not play with that and hospital beds are not the most comfortable or interesting places to be.

It’s a Givi trekker 42L mate and I’ve got a Givi waterproof inner bag for it as well.
    Cheers Phil
