Hi all anyone fitted a tec cam to a speed twin as the spring and weight thing on the standard cam does not fit the tec cam.
Fitted one to a thruxton R. Just do away with the spring and weight, wont do any harm but it will show up a weak battery. It slightly opens the valves during cranking to reduce compression. Has no effect whatsoever when the engine is running.
