Anyone else heard this rumour - Trophy

I've just read on the Trophy forum that due to poor sales 2017 will be the last year of the Trophy. Surely not, it's a superb bike, granted it could do with a bit of a diet but it's an awesome tourer and doesn't deserve to be killed off.
Has anyone else heard this or has more info. (perhaps the rumour only concerns the US)

i hope not, it would be a shame to see it dropped from the range,but triumph do seem to be concentrating more and more on the retro market..that must be where the money is
