Having bottomed out my new Speedmaster twice on humps I'm looking to protect things with a skid plate, does anyone know of something suitable that's available of-the-shelf? Initially I though one for a Bobber would be good, like the R&G Racing one, but the bar with the Speedmaster's forward controls uses the same mount points at the front. I guess the skid plate could be mounted between that bar and the engine but that's a lot more faff, especially as it will need to be removed and added back for any service or repair visits to the dealer (because no doubt they'd say it voids my warranty).
