Hello from the Blue Ridge Mtns of North Carolina!! Just acquired a 2012 Tiger 800 with 1,400 miles on her. This joins my ‘16 Indian Chieftain in the garage. So far, I love the ride. Much to learn about care and tech, yet.
Thanks all, for the warm welcome. Is there a dummy guide to air filter replacement? I like to replace all my vehicle’s intake filters with the K&N permanent types. One forum post mentioned it took 3 hours to accomplish. ♂️
Great bike! A little different from the Indian, though! I've been to Little Switzerland twice because the area is fantastic on a bike. The first visit was on a 2011 Sprint GT and the second, just last month, was on a 2013 Trophy SE. I'm sure that I'll go back! This is a photo from last month's visit. Where have you been riding?
I’m anxious to take the Tiger up on the Parkway, but had to limit myself to some short rides due to weather and travel plans. I’ve been up on the BRP a bunch (on the Indian), as the section between Pisgah Forest and Hwy 215 is almost in my back yard. Once I return from my current Alaska trip, I hope to check this off the list. The Little Switzerland area is beautiful, been there too.
