Hi All, Another noob to the site. Proud owner of a Bonneville Speedmaster, blew the extra shekels on the Highway kit which gives me a bit of touring capability. So far, an awesome bike. Love riding it and, as a shorty, it’s just the right size. Picked it up 24 March and have only managed to get 2200 miles on it so far and still smiling. Got to remember the ground clearance through as it does peg out here and there . Only downside so far is a bit of rust on the cat cover that triumph haven’t sorted yet, apparently if you ride the speedy when there is a cloud in the sky they won’t guarantee you’ll get no rust ha ha. I have noticed that it’s used a wee bit of oil in the last 1000 miles so if anyone knows if this is normal I’ll be grateful for info. Cheers all, Tim
