Been on the Thunderbird1600, RAT, Tiger1050 & Tiger Triple forums for years.
I just found this today. Looking forward to contributing.
I also own Jack-Be-Quick.com, a supplier of Triumph specialty parts.
    I currently ride a 2012 T-Bird 1600 & 2006 Tiger 955i.
Sold in the last few years an '06 America, '99 Legend TT & '08 Tiger 1050; all outstanding bikes!

Virginia is a great State to visit. Had several friends living there on exchange tours with US Forces.

The naming scheme briefly foxed me. I could get Williamsburg, Newport News, Busch Gardens, Roanoke, Richmond etc., but when I arrived in a city called Norfolk (an English County with a suburb called Suffolk another County) I wondered what on Earth the settlers were thinking when they pulled any Old Country names out of their back pockets.

Visiting Virginia also explained much of the conduct of the Civil War which was hard to fathom from over here. The distances and surviving afforestation are quite unlike anything in Europe. Large forces could manoeuvre in complete ignorance of one another even when searching hard and those many water courses are not easily crossed.

Monticello is no small achievement either and a fascinating mix of the home grown and imported refinement. You can be rightfully proud of your State. My regret was I had to tour on four wheels not two. Families!:D
