Following a break of 10 years, I popped out the other Saturday and bought myself a new leather jacket, and was chuffed to bits when it came with a a new Speedmaster!! Well that's what I told the wife.. Currently breaking her in with with 310 miles recorded so far whilst riding typically with single digit temperatures. Handles like a dream and sounds great, although looking forward to the full experience post her 1st service. Currently considering how to personalise.
Hi, Brian and welcome to the asylum. Nice bike. If you want to personalise it you should leave it just as it is. Then it will not only be to your own personal taste, it will be totally unique as all the others will have had much time and money thrown at them. This will free up your time and money for other things such as ... err .... riding your bike and effectively making tea/coffee/bacon or (and?) sausage butties/petrol/cakes/fish and chips etc. much more affordable. Just the weird thoughts of a rather strange loony bouncing off the lovely padded cell walls!
Brian Jilley Welcome to the family. Lovely bike. Tell the wife I said that Triumph do that a lot these day. You can't have the jacket unless it comes with the bike. Great picture. Blue is my favourite. Thanks for sharing it. Nursey will get a quite night tonight as the inmates ogle over the picture. The asylum will be quite for ages. Don't forget to get the old acf50 and protection on those ally bits to protect them as the old salt and winter can cause havoc. Regards & Ride Safe. Joe.
Congrats on the mid-life crisis, er, I mean bike and jacket, Brian. And welcome to a terrific forum and community of riders! Thanks for posting a photo of your beautiful new Speedmaster. Enjoy!!
Welcome to the forum! I saw the new blue colour when last at the local dealers and must say it looks rather nice.
