Hi I have had 3 Modern Triumphs over the years, A Trident 900, a Sprint 955RS and a Sprint 1050. Due to ill health haven't ridden in a year now but thanks to Pidcocks I have taken two machines out today as I am nearly right again. Two totally different machines, A Bonneville and a Street Triple which were fantastic in their own way. The Street Triple was so good it was hard to believe it was a 675 as it has such drive from all revs. The Bonnie was as enjoyable and rode a lot better than I thought once I ride it properly and not like a sport bike. The trouble being is I want both (Which wont be happening) so I have some thinking to do. Either way I'm back on a Triumph soon
Great to hear your on the mend and also getting back on a Triumph!! Go for the street... You know it's right in so many ways!! Welcome to the forum
Yeah it is a truly fantastic machine, trying to get the other half to want a Bonnie for herself so I get the best of both worlds.
Hi and welcome to the forum. It must feel good being back out on a bike after a long break, I have riden both the Bonneville and the Street Triple (my wife bought the Street) both nice bikes. The Street rides so smoothly from low revs and does not intimidate the rider, its has a smooth spread of power right up the rev range and for me one of the best engines ever built! Love the noise it makes when you rev it as well. Hope the recovery continues and hope to see you out on the road soon.
