hello to all, i have a very large lump of metal that i keep in shed. It is just for looking at i,m sure. the sales man called it a triumph bonn america, there may of been some paper work that is now missing stating this is not for road use as it never starts. just clicks. done it for 4 years now, clicking. been in stafford triumph, still clicking. looking on the threads, should i just keep looking at it, polish it now and again or does triumph have an answers to this. 11 plate 6k , only 1k if that by me. thinking best sell if it ever starts.

    Hi mate and welcome
I take it when you got it back from Stafford Triumph it was working :)
Have you left it standing without a battery optimiser connected
Sounds like it’s a battery charge problem :(
It needs to have 12.6vlts in the battery otherwise the ecu won’t allow it to start :(
These bikes are usually very reliable as long as the battery is in good condition :)

Welcome Anthony. Get yourself a genuine Yuasa battery and see if that does the trick. Batteries don't last forever, especially if not used and Opitmated.

    Welcome buddy :)

As others have said it could possibly be the battery. Give that a go 1st before anything else ;)

    All the best

Hello Anthony and welcome to the forum :)

I’m not going to repeat what others have said but it could be your battery ;)
