On my 1977 t140v when I push the tickler fuel keep’s running out. can I spray carb cleaner in the carb to clean it?
Do you mean the tickler gets stuck? You can try spraying carb cleaner on it, it won't harm anything. Probably best just to drop off the float bowl and access the tickler there to see what's occuring and fix, even better would be to install the tickler conversion https://www.classicbritishspares.com/blogs/news/how-to-install-the-extended-amal-concentric-tickler they are available all over so just search Mr-Google-know-it-all for some supplier local to you
You might have a small piece of dirt , caught right where the carburettor needle and seat operate , when you tickle the carb , you are pushing the float down further than it would normally travel !! Dirt is moving back and forth , lodging in the aperture!!
