Well we've got the hype now all we need is the facts.

Interested to see the full details. It needs to have seperate wheelie control and traction control! After owning the ktm, I couldn't own a supernaked without it. I hope it is genuinely "new".

If these photos are correct, the headlights are much lower and closer to the front fender. The clocks are much further away from the rider. Doesn’t look like much is changed other than that. I did notice the rear shock is not straight up and down anymore, looks to be on a 45° angle perhaps.

I like the look of it. Won't be buying one of course, but it looks a nice bit of kit. :)

Apparently, the shock is directly mounted to the frame and swingarm without any linkages. This is meant to make way for the cat etc which i should imagine is substantial.

I watched a video by the boys at 44 teeth, and they were explaining how a shock mounted to linkage is far superior than a shock mounted directly to the swingarm. If that’s the case, I would want nothing to do with the new bike.

Agree. If it’s better, the MotoGP boys would be doing it. Only advantage I suppose is space and lightness.

A non linear spring on the rear shock like the previous gen KTM SDR might mean they can get away without the rising rate linkage.

They need to change the damping to give the option of a softer ride.

They also need to fix the quick shifter issues that some have had (mine was perfect though).

If they do that, and increase ground clearance a little bit, and give a bit more wind protection they will have a Tuono beater.
