Another few hours have passed...so another posting

Whiskey, boredom... whatever... scrolling through previous posts...

    What is "the adaption Cycle"?

    What does it do?

    How do I do it?

Start your bike , use no throttle , leave it to Run for ten or twelve minutes. Should trigger cooling system fan at least once if water cooled ! Switch off as jobs done !!

Purpose to allow engine management the "ECU" time to learn the parameters that exists in current local !!

Useful if for instance , if you move home base from low lying coastal area's to say halfway up a mountain range , say over a thousand metres high....
ECU does a reset and does a base calibration.

It's usually done if you have changed something ! Style or type of air filter , exhaust mod or change of address (elevation)
    .
    Otherwise -. No !
