I sold my 800XRT and have a 900 GT Pro awaiting delivery at dealer. On my 2019 800 XRT I connected Danali lights and other accessories through a power hub--not directly to the battery. I never had any issues such as with a CANBUS like the BMW I had. So does the 900 Tiger have a CANBUS system that requires an adapter, like a Denali CANBUS Adapter, in order to connect accessories?

Hi and welcome - yes it does I believe.
I tried to wire in my Roadhawk Bullet camera which I had on my 800 xrx. This was wired positive and negative to the battery with the switched feed via a piggy back connector to the horn.
Tried this on the 900 GT Pro and it doesn't work.

Steve, Sounds like your trigger wire connected to the horn did not power your camera. If it were a canbus issue, I would think the horn circuit would be dead and might have shut down the bike if it were canbus. Have you tried a different trigger power source such as a taillight wire? That would be one way of determining if it was really a canbus issue or something else regarding the horn connection.

Yes, it has one socket by the ignition which is permanently live and another by the pillion seat, which is switched so I could run it from there.
The Tiger also has a phone charge point, USB, under the pillion seat aswell and apparently you can wire into the feed for that for switched accessories, or the switched auxiliary socket itself.
Interestingly, my new Garmin satnav just comes with a positive and negative connection unlike the old one.
