I posted about that in this section Duck. It was the most ridiculous claim I've heard in a long time.
The truth is they continued to socialise & ignored the lockdown....

I have to say that I have never really believed that lockdown was ever anything other than a measure to try and slow down the spread while the NHS etc. caught up with getting measures in place like temporary hospitals, PPE, volunteers etc. in place.

If the plan had really been to stop the virus in it's tracks then lockdown would have been absolute. Say, a period of time allowed (perhaps 2 weeks) to get supplies organised including emergeny army rations, powdered milk etc. and mobilise the army to deliver vital medicines to people, no-one allowed out of their homes on any account with Army and Police ensuring that people who broke the lockdown were immediately grabbed and placed into enforced quarantine. No aircraft or ships whatsoever would be allowed in or out of the UK for the enforcement period and no-one would have been allowed to land on our shores including 'asylum seekers' trying to enter illegally who would be taken in tow and returned to the French shores.

If that had happened then it might have taken no more than a few weeks to stop transmission of the virus.

With people being allowed to go to supermarkets on a regular basis (I don't doubt some people were out almost daily) and pharmacies plus Key workers travelling to and from their employment there was little chance of stopping the virus dead in it's tracks.

Now I reckon that the politico's are just trying to figure out how to let us all back out without the majority realising that the whole thing wasn't that worthwhile in the first place. The question now of course is how do you balance the loss of lives against the lives that will be ruined by the financial fall-out and, of course, all those who have avoided going to see about that niggling illness that has now become untreatable due to not seeing a doctor sooner.

I just watched the countryfile episode from last Sunday and the segment is about 9 or 10 mins in... As a I was born, bred and still a huge participant in the UK “countryside”, imagine how chuffed I am at being stereotyped as an ignorant, “exclusive” racist. Their broadstoke bigotry toward the countryside and the “white idyll” is just their opinion though and I can readily ignore it... what is poor is the lazy journalism and obvious promotion of a political ideology. I was going to itemise each individual issue I have with the report, but it would take a while and the reading of it won’t change a thing that’s been presented to the audience. I just hope that they can see through the Bullshit, Lies and Misrepresentation!

In all fairness the countryside probably wasn't racist and uneducated until I moved in about three years ago or so
It's all mine and my white privileges fault :p

People still think that the labour party is all about fighting for the rights of the working class and supporting the underdog...its a romantic nonsense that as not existed for a long time if it ever really did in the first place...
The labour party in my opinion and from I have witnessed first hand as become a fascist institution that dictates what you must think and say and his full of hypocritical w#nkers trying to secure positions of power and willing to sh#t on anyone that stands in their way....
I speak yet again from personal experience and personally knowing some of these appointed councillors...
Also one of them used his position to get me sacked threatening to withdraw council contracts from my employer if I was not dismissed by the end of the day because I publicly disagreed with him and pointed out certain illegalites he had allowed and was ignoring in favour of a certain community at the detriment of an already established community...
He is not the only one either the piece of sh#t....

The Scots (of which I am one but live in England) are setting their stall out to get back into Europe. They will be royally fucked otherwise once they have independence. looks to me that this was a movie for the Euros to see to ensure nobody upsets the cart
The clans would be turning in their mass graves.
