Turned left in the next village and rode on through then stopped to snap this:-

Bit of timber regeneration and old terraced hill. I do not know if it's still worked or not a lot of vineyards have been left abandoned. Travelling further came across this bridge over a fair sized river that's in spate right now we have had a lot of rain recently and added to snowmelt in the mountains.

This is right in the center of the village. The little ride out covered 120km.

    Excellent photos.

In case any of you are wondering about the plaque on the gate guardian. Google translate gives this.

What make and model is the aircraft?

ChatGPT identifies the aircraft as a Aero L-29 Delfín a Czechoslovak-built jet trainer/light attack aircraft.

Yes I did the same wit my phone however when I snapped a picture it was once again in Bulgarian and have no idea as the aircrafts make and model just called it a MIG as let's face it is the most common Russian make that most people know :p. Plus it's not a gate gardian just a monument to the man I have seen other planes and one that I passed a couple of years back was certainly a MIG

Ahhh did a little googling and turns out it's not Russian at all but a Czech produced plane:-

    https://planesoffame.org/aircraft/plane-L-29

The links gives a lot of info on the L29 "Dolphin" as the west called it. Again more googling resulted in this site:-

    https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Monuments_featuring_aircraft_in_Bulgaria

Which lists and show other aircraft monuments in Bulgaria hope you like it.
