My Tiger is a 2013 year model, and it does not have a heated seat (no even ''ready-for'' wiring for one).

So I wonder has anyone tested pretty cheap aftermarket's heating elements? Something like that below? Putting that under the cover of the seat?

In any cases, I pulled the trigger and bough one of those (did not cost much). I will install it on one of the rainy days of my summer vacation.

I have two different seat covers.

A bit thicker one for normal use

I'm planning to set that heater under the thicker seat covers (between the seat and the cover). I have two seats; a normal one and a low seat. I use the low seat. I will install the switcher of the heater somewhere on the handlebar, set the wirings permanently, and simply take the element away (and put it back) then/if needed (there is a white connector in the wirings). The switcher has two levels.
