My neighbour has just got himself one of these....1950 antique. Swapped it for a Swiss army knife, a ten bob note and a cutlery set. :)

Weenie 98cc Villiers two stroke that he got running yesterday. Making a right racket all over the place. Looked a right knob pedalling it up and down the street but so far round the cool circle that it's well good. I'll get some photos next time he wakes everyone up.

What a sweet little bike and looks pretty original. Tell him if he regrets losing his army knife i will happily do him a swap.
    Joe.

The postoffice (GPO) in Somerset were using these into the 1970s to do the letter deliveries to small outlying villages, it's smashing!

Blimey, sorry gang.....that's not a photo of the actual bike o_O I nicked that off of t'tinternet. His is actually in better condition. I'll get some real photos the next time he brings it out to play. I'll ask him tomorrow.
It would make a really easy and nice little project. It's actually just a pushbike with an extra chain running from a weenie Villiers. I would dismantle and strip the whole thing and repaint. it'd be a little stunner if done nicely. I bet he can't be arsed.....we'll see. :) I expect it'll be up for sale.

Yes, a nice little thing. All running and making a right racket. It has a brake on both sides of the handlebars. The clutch lever is under the left hand brake and the gear change is another lever (like an advance/retard lever) and you have to pedal to get it going.....:)

Found him (he's very elusive even when he's home) and asked to take some pictures. It's all in bits, engine out etc and he has some transfers etc to spruce it up a bit.
His workshop is a bit of a secret, so I didn't get in there to take any pictures. God knows what he's got in there. It won't be chitty chitty bang bang I can guarantee but I'll get some photos when it's annoyingly noisy again. Shouldn't be long
