    Hi
I brought a new 900 tiger rally pro 4 weeks ago, during the first service the dealer damaged the rear wheel speed sensor.
He replaced it with the speed sensor off a new scrambler they had and told me they are the same, the part numbers are different but he keeps telling me they are the same.
I am worried because that sensor is used in lots of inputs in the computer.

It will be the same part ! It may require calibration , but not necessarily ... Your Speedo maybe slightly affected , reading a little hi/lo than before.
I don't know why Vehicle Manufacturers do it , but often the same parts are listed with different numbers , just because it's on a different model/vehicle ??
