I need to replace my 1200 silencers with second hand o.e. ones - are 900 and 1200 silencers the same? cheers Kev
If you swap them like for like i.e. shiny chrome for shiny chrome (early bikes) or black chrome/alloy for black chrome/alloy (later bikes) then you should be okay, as far as I know. TBH there's bugger all difference between them insofar as 900s are interchangeable with 1200s. To be sure you can check part numbers on the likes of Fowlers and World of Triumph websites.
