    Hi Guys,

I have a 64 Bonneville T120 UK Spec and I am chasing a replacement tank, has anyone bought one from India, if so how was the quality etc?

    Cheers

    Bernie,
I have heard various reports on them and have not really come to verdict but there is a guy on Ebay selling them so if the worst comes to the worst you dont have to send it back to India. I have just had my 67 T120 Tank completely sorted massive dents and leaks its all good now but not cheap, there are some very good tank repairers out there.
    Regards Jim

From what I have gleaned from various classic bike mags, it would seem that tanks from Indian suppliers can be of somewhat variable quality. Probably best to have your own repaired, if possible, or find a good used one from a reliable source. It would also need to have the necessary mountings for the rack/castrater:eek::scream: which a new Indian tank may not have.
