hello fellas iam new to this but currently have the RS speed triple and thinking to go with a 520 chain and sprockets. What shall I go with ? -1 in front and what in the rear ? What are the pros and cons ? Regards

Now you're rocking. What is it you are looking to achieve with your steed.

Couple of things... too small a front sprocket may cause chain to run on the swing arm
as it moves to its extremes. I was thinking of lowering my gearing by adding a tooth at the rear . My only concern was the buzzy mirror vibes at 6k rpm are going to be coming into more normal cruising speeds. I went 1 down on front and 1 up on rear on my old fireblade giving a significantly lower ratio and made the bike really pull well and I don't do 150mph anyway. You WILL need a good quality chain !

Renthall are good for sprockets. D.I.D ZVM-X chains are good and seem to hardly ever need adjusting (though I haven t tried the 520..)
