I suspect the new tier system is gonna balls things up for selling gear like bikes, where collection is necessary? You may have to wait to get access to more bikes

there are currently 510 50cc bikes for sale on auto trader, perhaps one might fit the bill.

Those were the magical days.... Tell him to take plenty of pictures of it, he'll want those 20/30 years from now. I'm envious, I've been lucky enough to own lots of new big bikes, but none come close to those first few days of freedom on a 50. I'd love to be able to re-live those first few days.

Oh, and I find smaller capacity stuff seems to come up on FaceAche and Gumtree. ;)

I well remember my first day of freedom I was 16 and riding my CB72 Honda 250 to work on a wet cold november morning, from one side of Nottingham to the other. There was no training then and crash helmuts were not compulsery. Should have put me off bikes for life but I was hooked on them for life.

A DT50 or MTX50 throw me 35 years back. Couldn't afford one of those, but some good friends sometimes let me try theirs. Happy days
