Got back from a short trip up North, nothing too special, here are a few pictures.
The 1st few pictures are from the Chester's by the river café. A brilliant walk can be had round the back, after you've had a great big Strawberry jam Scone and a cup of tea.

You said your trip was "nothing too special", Bikerman, but it looks pretty special to me! Beautiful scenery plus just that great big strawberry jam scone and tea would make it special for me. ;):yum Thanks for sharing your photos and trip with us. :)

Hmmm, I'm thinking that the meaning of "ta-ta's" as you're using it is somewhat different that what "ta-ta's" is slang for in the U.S., @Smilinjack?!

Quite different. In my innocence, ta ta is no more than a vernacular way of saying cheerio ;), but we always use it to mean a bit of a trip, or outing. Going for tats is a day out, like. :)

I should have taken a before and after shot, it was big, and I didn't fancy too much to eat that evening.
