OK so I have been getting the Credit Card a little warm acquiring bits and pieces for the ride tomorrow. Having being nearly stranded on the Lecht I wanted to carry a bit of extra fuel. This little buddy just got delivered. The other options were 1.5 and 1 ltr. I had to weigh up the required space and the extra range I would get from the fuel. I went conservative as I have large bags. (and a small tank) I also just got the heads up that a Ltr of fuel in Aberdeen is now £2!!
Nice handy little bottle, how are you proposing to carry it? Your highlighted need is exactly why I use a petrol stove when on camping trips. The one litre bottle is kept topped up and is my emergency supply. My Armstrong mt500 pannier racks were apparently originally designed to carry x2 twenty litre Jerry cans, one each side That would add a significant tail weight!
