Today was the day. What a fabulous full on day picked the bike up and left #staffordshire #triumph at just gone 11am ish. Met a bloke I hadn't known before who was also collecting his (identical) new Speedy. Had my route planned (sort of) c/o Simon Weir and Andy asked if he could tag along, and why not. Better to eat your sarnies with someone rather than be Billy No Mates. A great 245 miles, so looking forward to tomorrow ..... Hope the weather holds
Andy had already booked his in for Saturday afternoon. But they are busy so I have it in for Thursday morning. It is such a good looking animal. I think I am erring on the side of having a low level can to put the weight lower down, but Andy telling me about his previous Speedy had developed some problems and because he had a (non arrow) low level can Triumph refused to carry out repair work under warranty. Anyway I'll think about it over the coming months. Bloody cold and windy going over the mountains in Wales yesterday I was glad I put my leather jacket and jeans on. A bit shitty here today just waiting on my lanes to dry up a bit
Are the pictures on the forum? I'm a lazy bugger but I have just come in after another 120 miles today I couldn't do anymore as my shoulders ache too much
